Just Up Ahead
This series was shot in the part of Michigan that borders Lake Superior….the “UP”. This image was shot on our way to scouting a couple of different lakes. This is a composite of two shots; the light was hard to find.
The Pyramid
The museum is right below but the art seemed to be right in front of me. This is about 20 minutes after sunset.
Backlit
This statue was right next to the wheel in the next image. It was begging to be taken, It is a composite of three exposures…..it took a long time to make it look right,
Wrapped in Clouds
This image is a vertical pano shot from Wacker Drive at about 5:45 am. It consists of 3 images shot with a polarizing filter. I had to wait a LONG time for the transmission mast to clear the clouds.
Blue, Black and Gold
This is another HDR shot where 5 images were combined into one. The stillness of the air was wonderful! This was the 3rd week that I had gotten up at 3:30 to get down town in time.
