Everybody HAS to shoot the Mittens in Monument Valley! This was my attempt to take a slightly fresh approach to the vista.

This was shot about 100 yards from the dawn setup for the Totem Pole shot. We were all cold but the sun was psychologically starting to warm us.

Our guide, Tom, picked us up at 6-an-a-little-am, this was the second set-up after the Totems. The sense of distance was amazing.
