The museum is right below but the art seemed to be right in front of me. This is about 20 minutes after sunset.

Paris is a photographer’s dream during the day and is even better at night. I now know why it is called The City of Lights. This is a multi-exposure image. It was hard to get the car lights where I wanted them.

This statue was right next to the wheel in the next image. It was begging to be taken, It is a composite of three exposures…..it took a long time to make it look right,

This was a composite image. It was raining lightly and I kept getting water on my lens. This is one of my favorite shots of Paris.

The Hancock building totally serves as a visual anchor to any view of Chicago from the north. This image was shot at about an hour before daybreak. There was a light fog that softens the focus.

This is Curt Pradelt. He lives in Tucson. Curt still is not really sure if digital has surpassed film.

A night shot at the Garden. I don’t know what possessed me but I started slowing down the exposure and moving the camera. These turned out far better than most of my attempts.

This is known as the “Buzzo Tree”, named after my Dad. He always had a small lit tree at the end of the pier near his house. We put this little one up outside on our deck in his memory.

This is the view at Christmas when entering the Chicago Botanic Garden. I remember jumping to the side a few times so I would not get hit by a car.
